Congratulations or should we say Happy New Year. We hope that 2018 has been a good year and brought you, your partner the happiness that you both deserve. Now that 2019 is here, this is the perfect time for you and your fiance to plan out your wedding resolutions for the year.

Resolutions are the perfect way to ensure that everything on your list gets done. After all, what’s a bigger project than a wedding, right? In this blog, we give you some ideas to help you kickoff you writing down your couple resolutions.

Resolution #1: Stick to the budget

It’s easy to get carried away from all the Pinterest, Instagram and bridal magazine inspirations like Monogrammed napkins or fancy lighting setups but be constantly reminded that you have to follow your budget. There are a gazillion other things that you will be spending on and those lighting setups won’t make or break your day anyway.

Resolution #2: Do your Research and Come up With A Task List

Blogs can be a big help when looking for sources, vendors, and venues. If you’re still struggling to find the perfect supplier for your wedding, heading to sites or Pinterest boards can help narrow down your options.

Once finalised, you and your partner can create a list that will include various tasks and will vary according to needs. Just make sure that both of you tick out the tasks in a timely manner so you won’t be having problems when the time comes.

Resolution #3: Focus and Don’t Forget To Ask For Help

One of the biggest struggles of planning a wedding is not knowing what you want because of the numerous options at hand. It can get overwhelming, to say the least, but don’t hesitate to ask for help to help you get through your list.

Take advantage of the New Year to reset and recharge. Divert your thoughts into thinking of how you can be more organised and productive. Planning a wedding should be collaborative after all.

Resolution #4: Trust Your Vendors

There are many suppliers you can choose from for your big day. No matter who you choose to celebrate it with, make sure you don’t forget to treat them with the utmost respect. Most of these vendors work alone or with a team of great people. If you’re going to entrust your big day to them, you’ll want to treat them as if they were your besties.

Keep in mind that all of these are just reminders and notes to help you ease to make your wedding planning as stress-free as possible.
