Outdoor Maternity Photography


Outdoor maternity photography works beautifully in Sydney because of the variety of natural environments available throughout the city.

Parks, gardens, beaches and waterfront locations can all create very different styles of photographs.

The location and session time are carefully considered so we can make the best use of natural light.

We will guide you through simple poses when needed, but the overall feeling remains relaxed and natural.

If your partner or children are joining the session, we will also create family photographs during the same photoshoot.

Do you only photograph family sessions outdoors?

No. Family photography sessions can take place outdoors, at your home, or at another location of your choice. We can photograph your family at a park, beach, garden, private residence, or any suitable venue across Sydney.

Where can we have our family photos taken?

We photograph families at a variety of outdoor locations throughout Sydney, including parks, gardens, beaches and waterfront areas.
The best location depends on your family, your children's ages, the season and the style of photographs you prefer.

Do you photograph young children?

Yes. Outdoor family photography is particularly suitable for young children because they do not need to remain in one position for the entire session.

We combine natural play and interaction with a small amount of direction to create both candid photographs and beautiful family portraits.

Can my partner and children join my maternity photoshoot?

Yes. Partners and children are welcome to join maternity photography sessions.
We can photograph individual maternity portraits together with couple and family photographs during the same outdoor session.

What should we wear for family photos?

We generally recommend simple clothing in complementary colours rather than dressing everyone exactly the same.
